Its 6 months tomorrow since I started my pre-op diet & today I've lost 5 stone! Bmi was 44, now 33. I'd like to loose another 2 stone now to get me to 29 bmi, then I'll just be overweight! I'll see how i feel / look before i decide if i want to loose anymore.
I'm now in the 15's which is a weight I've not been since I was 17 over 20 years ago!
I love my band, onwards & downwards. . . .

I'd forgotten about this thread! So here's an update. I'm 9 months post op now & a couple of pound off a 7 stone loss. I'm only a few pounds away from my original target at bmi 28 but I have decided to loose another stone now so I'll be on the low end of 'overweight' rather than at the top end. I'm hoping to shift the last 16 pounds by jan 2 which was the day I started my pre op diet.
I've been struggling this last month, I'm sure my head has been messing with me as the psychological effect of thinking 'nearly there' & bobbing in & out of overweight / obese, has reduced my focus & resolve. When I've managed to have a good few days & the scales say 'no!' It's prompted too many bad choices, snacking has crept in & I had chocolate for the 1st time this year! Portion sizes have crept up too. So I've had fill today 0.3 in taking me to 8.3ml in a 10ml band. I hope it gives me the kick up the butt I need to get this last stone and bit off!

Oh what app is that?

Just downloaded it thanks.

Fab. I also use my fitness pal to monitor calories / nutrition & pacer to track my steps. They're both free too & all 3 together help to keep focussed.

great to hear! well done, you must be so proud. xx
