This week marked my 5 months from surgery and I have to say it was the best thing I ever did. When I started lsd I was 143.5 kg im now 101kg. Still a long way to go but im getting there.
Thing I want to know though is how long before you see the change yourself?

Good question, when I know the answer I'll let you know, I'm 11 months out over 10st down :D

I find that if I *look* in the mirror I see no difference?!?!? But if I catch a glimpse of myself when I'm not looking ie reflection in a shop window etc I can see that I'm a lot smaller

Is it time to change your morror? ;) ;) :)

Must be really strange not to see a difference yourself when the numbers say you've lost so much! Hope your head will catch up soon!

Great work!

For me, I'm definitely seeing the changes in the mirror. I still look or catch glimpses and expect to see the much heavier me - it throws me to see a shrinking me and I'll sometimes stare at it, because I can't believe I've shrunk.

Im 6 months next monday and now 97 kg been to my 6 month check up ive lost 60% of my excess weight. Size 14/16 tops but still go for the big sizes not thinking I can fit into smaller clothes, my dr wants me to see the psychiatrist again to help my head see what everyone else can see.
She says a lot of people get the 6 month blues and thinks I'm experiencing that. She said it takes time for your head to catch up with your body changes.
