How soon after your op did you take tablets?

I got a bit of a cold and wanted to take 2 paracetamol but I've not taken any non chewable tabs since my op and I'm a bit worried about them getting stuck :(

I'm sticking with Calpol. It's not the cheapest way to do it because you need a big dose but until I find some small tabs or capsules it's what I feel comfortable with.
Having said that, the Surgeon sent me home with a pack of regular paracetamol and said to quarter them if I was worried about the size.

I got the Tesco own version of calpol its much cheaper, but omggggggggg the taste is vile and its all thick and gloopy, luckily I didn't need any pain relief post op and apart from 1 headache (where I took the liquid) and my cold where I took the tabs after fella snapped them for me :)

I was given anti-gallstone capsules in hospital, which I have to take for 6 months. They're huge and they're also hard capsules, not the softer variety.

I take 4 per day, 2 in the morning, 2 at night. I space them about 5-10 minutes apart and take with plenty of water. The first time I took two together, I guess they got stuck until they dissolved and it caused me a degree of pain.

Plenty of water and spacing them out and you'll be fine.

I took all my medication the day after the op. None were given to me in liquid firm and I've never had any issues :)
