5 day pouch test results

Well my weightloss has been odd recently.
I didnt weigh from Jan to Feb as I was sure the amount of crap I had eaten and the way my clothes felt that I had not lost anything.
I went on my own scales at home that read I had put on and was back up to 12 stone and then the day after was down to 10 stone!
I decided at the end of feb to go to boots and weigh, that said I was 12stone 2lbs - I thought A) I had been constipated for 6 days B) they were not my own scaled C) it was mid afternoon just after lunch rather than first thing in the morning.
I was disheartened and therefore decided something had to change! I decided to complete the 5 day pouch test.
I have weighed on my scales at home and they read pre 5 day pouch test at 12 stone...today the read 11.4lbs....God knows what I lost, or if I did lose, but at the end of the day - Im sporting comfy size 14's and my head is so focused on eating better the 5 day pouch test really helped me!

Well done Sal on the weightloss and the fact you've managed to get your head back into gear. I'm on day 4 of doing it so hopefully my results will be as good as yours!

Yeah. My BMI is overweight and the top of that scale! I dont think being short helps, but I feel this last few days like if I never loose a single more ounce, I am finally happy with myself, my diet and my weight loss. Its well over 10 months since I had my op and its taken a long while getting there

Well done Sal thats brill, i am gonna try again when i feel better i have now developed a bloomin cold .
Went for check up yesterday was disapointed that i didn't see my surgeon Mr Wan but some other consultant surgeon. The first thing he said to me was to ask if i had recieved a letter about the meeting that was held by multi discipline team about my case , well for a minute i was totally flumoxed but then realised that he hadn't fully read my notes so i told him that i had had my surgery, his reaction was well what are you here for , a check up says me, so finally got down to it Anyway upshot is another appointment in 6 months.
If i had seen Mr Wan there wouldn't have been any mis-understandings I wonder if i phone up and ask they will let me see Mr Wan next time, :sigh: The receptionist said they don't think he does clinic anymore

What a joke hun! Its not good - but if you feel you need support you are more than entitled to go back to your team to see your surgeon or a dietician at least! Ring the hospital and explain you want more help, or go back to your GP and ask for him to get onto the hospital?
I really may not be the BEST person in the world to give you advice and help as I struggle a lot, but I am feeling really good (bloody finally) about my weight loss anf food choices so if you ever want to talk or email or anything I am here hun You PM me if you need to x

Awww thanks hun thats really sweet, saw my dietician a couple of weeks ago and she was really nice, she knows i have been struggling and if i have problems i can always ring her. Right now i just want to get over this cold and then i can try and concentrate on doing 5 Day Pouch Test again.
It's really good to know that i have support from you and others on here, it really helps thankyou

Sent it first class on Wednesday, to your home address. Don't worry about photocopying and sending it back, I've no use for it at the moment!
