The surgeon told Dawn she had done too well on the liver diet , her liver was too shrunk & kept slipping off the retractor , could only happen to her ROFL !

A retractor is a surgical instrument, in this case used to hold the liver out of the way to allow the surgeon access to the area he needs to work on.
