After giving myself a proper telling off its back on track!

after a right old go at myself for falling off the food wagon I am getting myself back on track starting right now!
got back in my mini zumba kick using this
Zumba for Big Girls! Zumba With Sunshine 8.16.11 - YouTube
she looks the same shape as me and i was doing this for about 3 months weight came off but lose my mojo and guess what....the weight came back on!
plus i love beyonce and believe me i could do this (maybe not the running man so much but i gave it a crack!)

only last 4 mins so when i do them both together its around 12 minutes
UPDATE....just done them both for the first time in about 3 months out of puff but...BOY I FEEL GREAT!!

Well done!! I'm needing a kick up the bum just now! Waiting for my date for bypass and really can't put any weight on but just can't seem to get in the 'zone' if you know what I mean!!

just to let you all know since my firm telling me off ive reduced my portion sizes
been mindful of what I eat
and done both my you you tube keep fit clips
I feel good! and happy with myself
would it be ok to keep a food log on here pre op?
it would keep me honest and allow me to think each day that someone may read it ....and I cant get away with fibbing !!

breakfast-marmaite on toast 2x 1/2 mug of tea 2 sugars(half spoon
lunch- grilled chicken breast with 1 slice of bacon 1/2 portion of chips
dinner-6 meatballs portion of asda rice, water to drink
1 voddy and red bull(long day !)
6 rice cakes .....but didn't need it ,not really
that's it for today, hope for a better day ,after all........
tomorrow is another day!
 
LOL Los just spotted this thread well done gal :) glad your feeling a little more motivated now. Im sure keeping a food log here is just fine .............. call it your pre op diary :) keep it up and don't forget if your motivation starts to wain again give me a shout...... am happy to offer a friendly kick up the bum LOL x x x x

That is exactly how i was while waiting for my date, but i did gain weight !!! fortunately i pulled myself back just in time, got strict with myself and then my letter arrived...... i'm now on pre op diet so will have lost the gain before my op but could really kick myself now...... just think how less i could have been if i hadn't fallen of the wagon !!!!!!

climb back on hun get focused and like i said to Los its amazing how empowered you will feel afterwards, that will be enough to get you back in the zone :flowers: good luck x x x

evening all!
still keeping on keeping on
weighted myself today.....no lose BUT im not going to beat myself up about it
will have to change my profile weight don't want to but I HAVE to keep myself honest
had an evening off from my 2 keep fit you tube clips
will be doing them later tonight anyway my food intake (pre op)
weight in -147.6kilos (325 lbs):-(
b-1 large cheese topped roll with 4 thin slices of roast beef 1mug of coffee semi milk 2xflat teaspoons half spoon sugar
L-none
dinner -Tesco portion of chicken sweet and sour with rice (only brought as it was reduced in price!)5x egg size roast spuds water to drink
that's it not eating till the morning now
will drink more water and maybe have a gin and tonic later but don't feel like I really want one .
 
glad your still going hun :) nah don't beat yourself up, there's normally a very good reason. I weighed myself on the wii fit after doing some exercise this morning and could have kicked myself +1 grrrr so stupid as was wearing the wrong clothes and had drank 3 cups of tea lol live and learn, will re weigh in morning.

I guess that when you put yourself on this path you only want to ever lose weight ...not gain I have to remember I will sometimes do that I was before when I wasn't doing it for a life change but somehow it matters more this time round it has a lot more invested in it and I have an end goal in mind and therefore I don't want anything to stop me from getting there.
thinking about my 10lb weight gain im not making excuses here but I have just finished my monthly and maybe its partly that that`s (as well as over eating at Christmas!)part of the weight gain
I always weight myself on a Saturday morning before I eat in the same spot in the living room in just my undies !(every once counts!)
all I can do is do what im doing now and like ive said before just maintain my mindfulness
tomorrow is another day ......I think I will have that gin and tonic now!

evening all ! here is my (pre op) food entry for today
b 1/2 ham roll with a glass of water(still a bit full from yesterday)
L- other 1/2 of the ham roll 1 bag of posh chrisps(didn't like them but carried on eating them....left a bad aftertaste in my mouth,why I carried on lord knows!)
dinner-7 0z irish steak pan fried with lots of mushrooms and 5 x egg size roast spuds
5 profiterole's
water to drink
that's it for the night

just remember 3 meals are needed as less can cause weight gain that was my issue but your doing great keep it up
 
your right I was always told that on the various ww groups I joined over the years
im not going to starve myself because of my appointment at homerton hospital on wed as I know that's not going to work because when I do that I only end up eating junk food or my portions get bigger to feel the "gap" I think I have
but thanks for taking the time to reply it does mean a lot it feel like little guardians are looking out for me !
