I'd like to be able to ride a horse again, go on days out with the family without feeling utterly exhausted and stop feeling old before my time

I've always wanted to wear jeans - so that is my dream at the moment - there are lots of other things but that is my personal goal.

I'd like to avoid a hysterectomy (without WLS, it is a guaranteed necessity, but I'm too big to have one...but surgery may help me reverse the changes causing the need for one).

I'd like to be able to move like a normal person, to not have to plan out every journey on how far I can comfortably walk, what the stairs are like, etc.

I'd like to finally find a partner that I don't just settle for - I'm twice divorced, and both times settled for someone who was willing to be with fat me, rather than who loved me for who I am.

Oh, and stop sweating buckets the moment I get warm.

I want to look 'normal' with normal sized shoulders
I want to be able to wear my mothers jewellery
I want to be able to buy a bra in a shop
I want my daughter to be able to put her arms around me for a hug without struggling
I want to renew my vows and wear a proper dress (I got married in a suit from Evans) and feel beautiful

The medical improvement is important, looking good is important, clothes are important.
My real pleasure from this will be being able to fit in an aeroplane seat all the way to Australia to see my daughter and grandchildren. I also hopefully will live longer to watch the ones in Australia and the one here to grow up.

I want to wear a wetsuit and not look like a beached whale.

I want to have my knee op, they've been telling me since I was 15 that I am too young to have it (to do with how long knee replacements last for and how many a person can have). I'm blooming 50 now, so no reason I can see not to have it once more weight has gone.

I also want to buy/set up a small business in town ( bank should look more favourably on a thinner me).

So many of my wish lists have come true
To be able to do my toenails and breathe at the same time
Not to have to lasso my knickers onto my leg
To buy clothes from anywhere other than Evans or Yours in the mall
To sit on a deckchair/garden chair without the worry of it breaking
To not feel like everyone is looking at the massive woman

A couple of months ago I went through one of those plastic garden chairs. ouch some bits were sharp.

I bet, the trouble is with most of those chairs they are left out in all weathers so they do break fairly easy, last year on my 50th we were on holiday we upgraded to deluxe as it was my special birthday, we had a patio, I couldnt sit out on it as the chairs were those plastic ones, fella had to drag the very heavy solid wood coffee table out for me to sit on

Thats where I made my mind up I WAS having surgery and sat and had a long chat with my O/H and he agreed to support me in my decision, we are going back there a week today I am 116lbs lighter so look out patio chairs I'm coming to getcha!!

Mostly for health reasons and to increase my chances of starting a family!
I found being single and a larger girl quite hard and I really wasn't used to the horrible comments etc from men!
I think certain men over the age of 35 seem to think they are gods gift and they deserve the perfect woman on their arm! It was hard on a dating site to get past the pictures!
This over everything effected my confidence!
I did meet someone and all is going very well and he has been very supportive of this decision despite being worried that after loosing weight I may find myself wanting different things! I am going to be 37 and time is running out for a family and I knew that at my weight conceiving was going to be hard! So that combined with health benefits are my main motivators!
Other things that I hope to achieve will be:
- Being able to excercise in the gym without looking like I am going to pass out!
- Being able to walk into any shop and put on clothes that fit!
- Being able to run down the street without being shouted or jeered at
- Having more bedroom confidence! Lol :)
- Feeling more confident in myself and being more assertive rather than subservient
- Going out more and having fun!
- Not having a funny smell from my belly button due to fat!
- Not worrying or panicking in any situation about what other people are thinking (have been getting better at this recently)
- Feeling free of a problem I have carried all my life
- Feeling what it is like to be an average size and not sticking out!
- Going on a hot beach holiday and feeling fabulous and not like I have to hide!

Probably loads more but just some that spring to mind!

Good luck everyone!
