Gutted!

So today was the day, first day if the rest if my life! but my op got cancelled today, I was admitted at 7am saw the anethetist and consultant, I signed my consent form and then about an hour later he came back and told me their wasn't a bed for me ... Just got to wait for another date, hoping it won't be too long, but feeling very frustrated ? x

WTH ! Thats really horrible. They didn't know the day before they wouldn't have a bed ?
Grrr I hope you get a new date PDQ and you are on the losers bench soon.

its never easy to deal with hunni, your bound to be disappointed, upset even.... turn the page and let tomorrow be the first day of the rest of your life..... don't dwell on it, move forward ....stick to the plan .......a new date will be along soon x x x x

thats just plain horrible the build up you get yourself into gearing yourself up and to get as far as you did must be gutting
lets hope you get a date real soon and not have to do the LSD for too long

Big ((((hugs))))) sooooo sorry loulabelle. It's the nightmare scenario that I think most of us dread for op day & unfortunately it does happen to some. Make sure they give you a fresh date ASAP at least then you will have focus again and hopefully it's not too far round the corner xx

Sorry to hear your disappointment today if it's any consolation mine got cancelled on the 20th dec ended up having it 22nd dec got home Christmas Eve fingers crossed it won't be too long! X

Sorry it got cancelled, and you must feel gutted.

few of us had our's cancelled, but stay focused and stick to the plan, and hopefully it won't be long before another date.
Give your team a ring in the morning, to see what's happening.

I went in at 7am and they told me at 5:30pm mine was cancelled.
