Thought I'd start a thread for August surgery dates

Mine is 7th August

Hi, mine is 18 August , in the Czech Republic, I am struggling with lipotrim now to try and loose 10lb before surgery what sort of procedure are you having done, I hope to have a roux en y bypass .

am on my pre-op diet have lost about 2kg in the last 4 days am having the same op gastric bypass roux en y I currently weight 139kg and live in UK.

Yay I kept looking for an August thread!!! I'm in a week today (6/8/15) for the bypass at Homerton, I'm doing slim fast lsd and have lost 5kg, fingers xd it'll be a bit more by next week!!!

Got my surgeon consultation on the 5th do might just get in the August surgeries!

Mines 14th August, having a gastric sleeve.... Starting my lsd tomorrow, as I love milk I'm doing that one lol. Good luck to everyone

My gastric sleeve is the 22nd August in the UK. Start pre op diet on Friday. Good luck everyone! Anyone else going to Spire Roding hospital?

Hi vain, hows the diet going? are you having to drink lots of milk and yogurt? I've managed to loose my 10lbs but as there are 11 days before the op I have to make sure I don't put that 10lb back on again....which could easily happen. I am 276.5lbs and really should be 120. I've always been overweight but it was over the last few years that things really got out of control. I am so overweight now it is really disabling me, the worst thing is walking into a room and scanning the furniture to see if its going to give me a problem, you know, I may not fit into it or it might or I might break it!! There's certain cafes in town I won't go to now because I am not confident of their furniture :sigh: So anyway, I really hope this surgery helps me get all of that back under control.

ahh it's great to be so near I was on low cal diet it was so hard had a few slip ups but apart from that all good and I hear ya it's a struggle being overweight xx
