what can i do???????????

Firstly, calm down.

Are you sticking to the plan 100%? If not, then do that.

Are you drinking plenty of water? Aim for 2-3 litres per day, spread out through the day (do not try to drink a lot in one go). This will help with losses and with keeping you feeling full.

Can't think of anything else that will speed things up for you. At the end of the day you can only do your best. if you can tell your surgeon that you have stuck to it 100% then he can't really complain!

oooh, one more thing, are your bowels still moving? Any chance you could be a bit bunged up? If so (and only if so) take something like senokot or dulcolax to clear things out. Being bunged up can affect your weight loss.

i am at a loss...i am on my optifast pre op shake diet and have gained a pound!!! how did that happen? i need to be below bmi 50 (aprox 19ts 3lbs i think?) by tuesday 6th...only 3 days away...for my pre op appointment...sh*te...HELP  i dont know what to do???

Depending on when you weighed yourself...for example if you were after having a lot of water to drink the scales would show an increase as a pint of water is 1lb...

You also retain water around the totm.

As shel also mentioned if you are constipated that also could explain it.

Make sure to drink at least four pints of water over the course of the day to keep your bowels moving on a liquid diet...

no, i have not cheated...but have not been drinking anywhere near that amount...will start immediatly! i have been limiting my fluids to just the shakes any maybe 3-4 cup of tea with skimmed milk and sweetex. my bowels have slowed down but i thought that was a result of not eating solids...i am still going though...just less frequently. i am just shocked as the week before xmas on the shakes i lost quite a bit...

thanks for your tips...im off to get a drink of water NOW!!!x

Tell then you always gain 7lbs at your TOTM;):D

lol :8855:i would if i thought i could get away with it...but my totm was last week and i usually put on 4lbs but only put on 2lbs...so counted it as a 2lb loss!!! why do we kid ourselves??? at the end of the day i still need to loose 5lbs in about 66 hours!!!

Try not to panic mermaid. If you have done as you were asked then that's as much as you can do. You don't want to be arriving for your op completely stressed out!
Best of luck
xx
