Who's got one, then? Or maybe more than one? :D

Here's my baby:

Mable is 6 and likes chasing bubbles and stealing the duvet.

Show me yours!

Mable is gorgeous. Mine is called Dolcy and is 6 years old she's like my sheep as she follows me everywhere. image-3986938733.jpg. I love staffs I'd have more but hubby won't let me.

:eek:Awww Dolcy is such a cutie And she has similar body markings to Mable although you can't see them in my pic of her. Yes, Mable is my shadow. Always behind me... or sometimes walking backwards in front of me (weirdo!)

Do you find Dolcy getting called 'him' quite a lot when out and about? Everyone thinks Mable is a boy because the breed is so stocky. I never mind but it's funny how embarrassed people get when they realised they guessed wrong.:D

Yes she gets called a boy all the time even when she wears a pink collar, what annoys me most is when people purposely walk across the road to avoid her, the worst she'll do is lick you to death.

This is tess my Velcro dog. She is a rescue and is a wee bit insecure at times. But is improving all the time. But....:she can be really vile with other dogs :-( but the most loving creature you could ever find towards humans

Ooh wow what a lovely staffie smile on Tess!!

Kar8858 yes both GSDs and staffies seem to cause fear! People cross the street away from us too. Mind you given Mable's flatulence tonight I'd like to do the same :D

Awww Elsa is a beauty! I love her little greying chin! So cute. And her expression says 'come on, mum, stop photographing and start moving!'

BUT... I'd heard they mellow by age 12ish. Oh no, don't tell me I've got at least two extra years of hyperactivity?!! Noooooo. Hehe.

Butterfly Lady - don't worry, I don't mean you :) I mean those people who supposedly 'love all dogs' but think that a staffie (etc.) will rip their face off if they don't run away! It must be hard being scared of dogs in general. My mum is quite nervy with dogs so I sympathise with you.

Just love all these lovely staffs

Tess is my first

Do they all bounce up and down when you come home? Trying to get up to your face? It drives me nuts. German shepherds were a bit more dignified I have to say lol xx

Our Elsa is very mellow when it suits her lol she can be a stubborn sod at times but she is no bother she has never been or shown any aggression towards anyone (we have never shown her aggression either) She has grown up with my nieces and nephews and they pulled her to bits and she didn't care although we never left her alone with them. I myself have always been wary of dogs but never with her.Staffs have got a bad reputation which I think is such a shame we have had 14 yrs of fun with ours she is mad as a hatter but I wouldn't have her any other way :)

I know! Can you imagine the fun they'd have if they all got together?! Haha.

kurstywursty, I get bounced on by Mable when I come back from even just a trip down town, and she must inspect any item that comes through the door with me!

Mable sadly had quite a few dogs start on her when she was a pup so can be wary of other dogs and sometimes 'swears' at them if they get a bit close. But she is such a sweetie who just wants to play with everyone! I've noticed she's got a 'child mode' too, which means she is gentle and very mothering with little ones. It's lovely to see.

My dogs favourite place is in the kitchen with his head in his food bowl.
Bit like my husband too...
