Tummy Tuck & New Boobs!

Well it's just over a year since my Gastric Bypass and next week I have an appointment to see about having a tummy tuck and a new boobs!! I have lost just over 8.5 stone and tbh my tummy isn't as bad as what I expected after such a big weight loss in all honesty but my boobs omg just droopy loose skin!! Gonna see if I can get a better deal if I have both done together anyone had both done at same time ?

I'm still pre-op but will watch the thread with interest as I'm thinking I'm going to need tummy and breasts done. When I asked The Hospital Group about discounts for multiple procedures they said yes... Keep us posted! Who are you seeing for your consultation?

That's good to know hun cos I had my bypass done through Hospital Group and that's who my appointment is with next week x

Have you chosen a particular surgeon? I started a thread on here a while back for recommendations but barely anyone replied...

I am going to have boobs, tummy, arms, legs and a facelift. Hope it does work out cheaper.

Please keep us posted. I have lost 10 stone but still got another 10 to go before I can consider the surgery.

I know i will need boobs tum and arma done but Have only Just started my weight loss journey. U look amazing hune. Good luck keep us posted.

Hi there, I'm also post op almost 2 yrs out, I'm just waiting to hear if iv got funding for my tummy and boobs, iv lost 13 stone and like u the skin isn't dreadful for the amount iv lost, I go the gym a lot to really try to tone, but it's there and I hate my tummy and boobs the most, hoping to get at least one done on nhs then if I can't get both done ill save as hard as I can for the second op, good luck and keep us updated xxxx

Will be interested to know outcome here. I need everything doing with a 13 stone loss!

mamamia - how did you get on with your consultation, who did you see? i had my boobs done - mastopexy with implants - with THG after I lost 10 1/2 stones with my band. I am absolutely over the moon with the results

Hi ladies well I cancelled my appointment cos I know I can't really afford it gonna work really hard at the gym and maybe at the end of year if I've saved enough then I will be able to have it done then. Laura good to hear from you, when I began my journey you were my inspiration hun xxxxx

Bless ya that's nice to know that I was someone's inspiration now look at u ;-) stunning! I'm forever at the gym it really does help my skin seems to b shrinking but would still like it done but we will see xxxxx

Well finally saved up and having my surgery in April so excited and nervous at the same time will post some before and after pics be warned its not a pretty sight! Will let you know how I get on x

Well had blood tests last week and iron levels are low! Been for pre-op today and they now need to see how I go with iron tablets and need to have another blood test in 4 weeks to see if operation can go ahead will keep you posted

I had a gastric band privately thg I have lost eight stone but I was under the impression you couldn't get a boob job on nhs is that right x

It depends on the area you're in. If you can get psychological back up and have a normal bmi you might get a referral. Ask your GP x

I had a sleeve privately and saw my dr about a tummy tuck - he showed me the new guidelines for our pct that say psychological reasons no longer count - now it is persistent sores (12 months plus) or unable to fulfil daily tasks. Not sure about boobs tho. I'm gutted as I can't justify spending £6k+
I'll keep buying that lottery ticket!

I had my bypass in July 2013 and I have lost over 9stone (size 22/24 to 10/12) and had a breast uplift and augmentation last September. I am delighted. I was referred to a breast cancer reconstruction specialist rather than cosmetic person. This is because of the understanding of giving back something that has been taken away, rather than making the most of what you are naturally given. I can live with my other skin issues and cannot justify the expense, risk and hassle. xxx
