totally gobsmacked

I've not posted for a long while but I do look in every now and then. I have just been approved for a tummy tuck and getting it done 15 July. I'm over the moon but as the title says totally gobsmacked

Hey! Long time no see! I got mine done on nhs last Sept! Just paid and had boobs done in April.

I'm not sure what the criteria was bariatric surgeon said cos I'd lost all my xs weight he'd recommend me. Went to see the psychiatrist in Feb and after that didn't think I would be approved. Got an appt to see surgeon on Monday past and within two minutes of him looking at my abdomen he said yes surgery prob end of august. Call yesterday at work and his secretary said 15 July

What was the recovery time? Might try and save up for new boobs but mine have all but disappeared lol

I would say 2 weeks living quietly, then gradually felt better up to 6 weeks. Felt back to normal after 3 months. I had a few wee stitches that were slow to heal, but after 6 weeks they improved. Tummy so numb though so it was hard to know if I overdid things too soon?

That's great news! I've lost 7 stone but still 3 to go. I went private for my sleeve but was hoping for TT on nhs. My dr said he would refer me but did not think the funding was there for me.
I bet your over the moon and can't wait.
