So I thought we could put a photo of our Christmas Dinners on here this year to see how much we are all not eating this year. I have a photo of last years before surgery so I shall put both on to show the difference!!!

Please feel free to join in tomorrow with your dinner photos and enjoy....

These took me 4 hours. Delicious leek & potato homemade by my big brother. Followed by rhubarb & custard. Yum yum

I didn't take a pic. Durrrrr

Had a few spoons of Tesco finest edamame and pea salad for lunch, then we had our roast just before 5. Managed about 4 mouthfuls of Turkey and veg and then my bubbles and hiccups started - so time to stop. Bit gutted because it looked gorgeous. But, it's better not to be so full you can't move.

I know a few aren't that far out, so thought you would be interested in seeing what a meal could be like further down the line. Im nearly 2 years post op (and 8 1/2 month pregnant - which has effected my capacity a bit).

This was my meal, i ate it all with no problems, but was rather full after. Also there was a bit of cranberry sauce and gravy that went on afterwards.

Just cooked Boxing Day lunch for my husband. It does look a bit like a chainsaw massacre so I won't post a photo but it's a whole Pheasant, roast potatoes, bacon rolls, gravy, cranberry sauce, sage & onion stuffing, red peppers with Worcester sauce. He's a philistine and doesn't eat normal veg.

I'm drooling..........

And, Sainsburys were selling off 6.5kg turkeys this morning for £6, the first of the two beasties is in the oven now.

If only my oven was gas, I want to stick my head in it right now.

Do I eat some, projectile vomit, rip my throat to shreds with acid or just stay safe and fume at my stomach, grrrrrrrr

Ooh it all looks so good!!

I had some m and s game pie today, it stated down but it was a tiny slice. For tea I had 2 duck roll things and a sticky chicken skewer !

I've realised Xmas without food is crap !!!

Have you had some drinkies?

It has made me realise exactly how much some people eat. I looked at hubby's plate yesterday and was shocked really! That would've been my plate last year and the amount there made me feel just astounded at the anount I used to put away.

We bought less this year than we usually do, but still the fridge is full and I think things will still be being eaten at Easter.

It hasn't been crap, but it's certainly a 'different' Christmas.

I don't drink anyway but usually eat loads and drink Pepsi max!
Will have a better plan for next year!!
I'm back to work tmrw for 5 days but going out New Year's Day for lunch.

I agree it's been a different Xmas, Normally make prawn cocktail/ no starter this year, Ate 1slice turkey, 2 bacon rolls , half parsnip. I sprout , mouthful swede n carrot, all with gravy, Half a roastie, I will admit to picking at the turkey when carving it an hour before, probably didn't help, but it's protein! My family ( all normal weight) had big plates, and drank alcohol, I was stuffed on what I ate , Haven't drank enough fluids over Xmas, not through lack of trying,
Hoping to have a drink New Year's Eve, will have an early dinner.

This was my Xmas dinner (Decided to use a plate rather than my Minnie Mouse bowl) I ate it all :)
