Hi I had mine at Sunderland. I had loop bypass but the post op diet is the same for loop and rny ... day of op tiny sips of water, day after op max of 1 liter water, day after u start ur puree if all well u go home ... 4 weeks puree 2 weeks soft the work ur way onto solids .. I'm 3 weeks post op gd luck xx
Hi I'm 3 weeks post opp had mine at North tees hospital, I was on liquid only the day after my opp then puréed. I'm still on puréed for another week, I've been having the likes of, puréed Shepards pie, fish pie, soups, puréed queen chicken tikka masala, baked beans cheese & mash etc, I must say I'm getting sick of puréed food now like, roll on the soft stage.. Oh and I'm looking forward to having a nice glass of wine, no idea when that will occur but I'm hopeful that it won't be too long
