Losing too quickly after eating rubbish... 18 weeks post op

I have been not very good for the last month (sigh) resulting in only a 5lb loss in a whole month.

This week starting Monday I refocused myself and have been having around 800kcals made up of around 87-100g of carb and 70-100g of protein. This has resulted in the last three days me losing 6lb!!! Granted I did gain this week (see piccy) but I am scared that I am losing glycogen and not real weight loss and when I do have a carb high day it will go back in.

What should I do, carry on or change diet? Comments please. ..... image-705460787.jpg

I have also been drinking a lot more water ... 2 litres a day instead of my poultry 1.25

Were you given a diet sheet or diet principles by your surgery provider? If so, I'd go back to basics and follow them; it's easy to stray off track over time.

I printed off the bariatric surgery food pyramid to stick on the fridge which acts as a good reminder about how much of what sort of food we should be eating post op. Attached below.

My provider just gave me just the basics, 200g per meal, try and incorporate all 3 food groups (carbs, veg and meat), only 3 meals a day.

I am doing that, but just worried that I am going into ketosis and having false weight losses.

Love the diagram, so stealing that.

Thanks for the reply.
