I have just emailed PALS at the hospital. Not because I want to be put ahead of anyone. Just because there were issues in my complaint about my treatment overall. It's been 5 weeks since I complained, and they have never got back to me with the promised response.

Am I right in thinking that is more than enough time to have given them?

2nd Mar: Op date given, pre op started(On my old scales, so not sure of true weight. Gained some timber in stress time)

I would say more than enough , but expect some flannel about delays in their response due the surgeon leaving rolls eyes !

I mentioned that in the email. I said I know since complaining a surgeon has left, and appreciate the department is busy. However, I feel 5 weeks is long enough to look into my case.

I also said I understand PAL themselves are busy.

Hopefully my appreciation and understanding will cut through the flannel lol

Trying my best not to think of it too much. That's why I am less active on here for a bit I think. Trying to talk myself into thinking if I talk more I won't get obsessed lol

Wish I could hug my nephew. Not allowed to see him until he comes home mid march. Infection control. I will have lots of hugs saved up for him by then xxx

fuffs your weight loss up to date needs to be recognised by yourself sometimes, you have done all this hard work by yourself.
i whish i could hurry them up a bit with a date for your op and p.a.l.s. now draging their feet grrrrr you will get an answer eventually its just when please know you are in my thoughts sending cyber strenghth your way (not that you need it as you are a strong woman) but it wont do no harm best whishes fuffs. xxxx

Well today I missed a call from the bariatrics coordinator at 3.30. She said she was leaving the office at 4.00 and would be back at 8.00 am and to please call her back.

I wonder if this is it. Don't want to get my hopes up to are. But I am nervously excited
