I was just wondering if anyone else out there, whose bypass surgery at Heartlands was cancelled, has heard anything else about the new surgeons, operation recommencement dates etc. Have 'phoned the hospital but Sian ( co-ordinator) is on holiday and the person I spoke to was unable to tell me anything ! It's the 'not knowing' that is so frustrating !

i agree with you. Iwas at the meeting on Wednesday evening and there were approx 3 people who had been cancelled (one lady a mere 20 hours before her op....)
Then were a couple like myself that are still on the waiting list and also dont know anything....
I do feel a bit sorry for the staff as they dont seem to know much themselves and still have to deal with all the people like us who really need to know a bit more than what is being released...
Lets hope that this will be a dim bad memory in a couple of months !! Good luck..
