The information sheets in the packets will tell you if you have to take them with food (including yoghurt), or an empty stomach. 20 days eh? eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek! |

Just wanted to wish you well for the pre-op diet. Don't despair on days 1-3 - it gets a lot easier after day 3 x

Pre op ?23/7/10 Start Weight: 299lb Current Weight: 225lb Goal Weight: 196lb Goal Date: 18 months time BMI Information: Start BMI: 44.1 Current BMI: 33.2 Goal BMI: 28.9 Statistics: Total Weight Loss: 74lb Weight to Lose: 29lb % Lost: 24.75% %EWL: 56.8% | I think the only reason you need your meds in liquid form post op, is because of the restriction you will have following surgery. This coupled with the bruising etc could cause tablets to get stuck. Since the pre-op diet is to shrink the liver, providing you take your tabs as directed, there should be no problems. It might be worth checking with the Bariatric surgery team if you have to stop/restrict any medication prior to surgery? I have to stop my aspirin for 3 days. Rebirth |
