The Milk diet is not the pre op diet before the Operation,But a diet that you need to fulfill for people that have their op done at Luton and Dunstable ( L&D) to prove their commitment.
It's a diet of semi skimmed milk,1 sugar free jelly & an oxo stock cube....Plus a minimum of 2 litres of water a day and a Multi-vitamin tablet.

You have to lose 5% of your bodyweight on the diet...I needed to lose 22lb so i did that with another 6 lb on top of that

I have chosen Mr Jain as my Surgeon after doing a bit of research and chatting to some people who have had their surgery performed by him. I'll be meeting him on the 8th March for a chat about my surgery and to get a definite date for surgery.

So all in all i'm so very happy that things are moving along nicely....especially after the battle i had to get here!

that fantastic andy. wow you must be over the moon. i hopefully having gastric sleeve on 08th march and i am to start my liver reducing diet next wednesday.
my surgeon does not believe in the milk diet rather i have to follow a very low calorie diet with minimum carbohydrates!! each to their own i suppose.
