Gt my op date booked and all my pre op stuff through but I'm really worrying as I have to ensure I lose 2 stone to bring my bmi down
I'm terrified I won't be able to do it.
I have till the end of jan but I just dnt think I can do it :(
 
Good luck stacie, it is a difficult time over Xmas to try and lose weight but if you really want this you can do it!
A lot of people on here have really surprised themselves with will power prior to their operations.
Be positive and good luck

Good luck Stacie .. I'm sure you will be fine. You are motivated, focused and ready so no problem. As Kar says it's amazing what strengths you find when you need them. I was in your shoes 2 years ago smack bang in the middle of Christmas festivities & lost 4 stone between then and my balloon op in on the 6th Feb. I was just so motivated as I am sure you are right now. YOU CAN DO IT ;) xx
 
Day one,,, two shakes done now for Eve meal of small jacket and weighed tuna! Had a few bored moments where Id normally snack but have not done so
Quite hungry atm so will enjoy my tea lol but proud of myself being on the nxt two weeks lol
 
Day two is gonna be hard as the salon I work in is surrounded by doughnuts fry ups n cake and my boss doesn't have a weight problem so stuffs her face lol I will do this!
 
Any chance you can take some fruit in with you and snack on that instead?? You'd still get the sugar and social aspect of snacking the pre-xmas goodies...but with all the goodness and no guilty feeling?? Anyway, I hope you are finding the pre-op diet ok, it took me a few days to get used to it, but overall I didn't have too much of a problem...all the best :) x
 
Just think it's the work of the devil!!! Don't be tempted...think surgery...think weight loss ...think how unfair it is we are not natural size 8's!!!!!!!
 
It's been ok today im not even interested in snacking im just ignoring any thoughts like that , and I think because I have the op as a goal it's easier than sticking to past diets where I could always say oh well start again monday lol
 
Keep up your very good work believe me it will be worth it plus you get to share your experiences with others and in turn help them

Really disheartened today tho it's
Day four and I no it's silly but I jumped in the scales to have a look and I haven't lost anything at all :( surely Id see a small loss by now? I'm being so good at not snacking etc
 
Don't be ruled by the scales, all of a sudden it will drop off!! Drink plenty if NAS squash or water and stick to the diet!!! It will come off
