Why do the pre-op diets vary so much with what your allowed & also how long you have to do it for? Some are milk diets ..some are restrictive low cal and some you seem to be allowed more on...how can they all do the same thing when so different? And also why are some people on the diet for 6 weeks or 4 weeks or 2weeks? Isn't there a standard amount of time it takes to shrink the liver? Some people on here cheat and there liver is still small and some people follow completely and there liver is still a it large & fatty?
