Fobi Ring in 5 days!!!

Hi all

So in 5 days I'll be going in for my 3rd weight loss surgery. Originally had a lapband then revised to RNY now I'm off to have a the RNY pouch made smaller and a fobi ring put in. To say I'm nervous is an understatement.

I can sympathise as someone who's had a band fitted, then removed, followed by a gastric bypass followed by bowel repair 2 days later. I never want to go under the knife again! Good luck with the surgery. Hope it all goes well! X

Hiya can I ask why you got the fobi ring put in? Did you have to pay for this or was it Nhs? I'm having problems with weight gain so this really interests me.

I was wondering how you were getting on with the fobi over the bypass?? I am actually booked for revision surgery the end of October. My original surgery was a rny bypass in 2006 and I am looking at having either a fobi ring or a band over my bypass......Just not sure what to go for....??
