Revision Surgery

I had a bypass in Nov 2010 and this Thursday 30th July I am having revision surgery, I am having the bypass redone with a Fobi Ring, was just wondering if anyone else out there has had this done and what the results were for weight loss. Thank you for reading.

Try a search of the forum for FOBI. There are bound to be some posts about it, though I know it is not a common procedure. I think only one or two surgeons do this in the UK.

I'm wondering whether to contact Mr Van den Bossche as I am looking to have revision surgery to my gastric band, done in 2011 as I've regained 60 per cent of my weight loss. The options are very confusing and information on which surgeons perform fobi ring procedures is hard to come by.

Excellent! Congratulations. Sounds like you feel you've made the right decision. It's a trek to Southampton from Blackpool but it may well be worth the 2 or 3 trips to gat the best results. Shame no other UK surgeons that I know of perform the fobi procedure.
