post op wound

I had my second stage gastric bypass 4 weeks ago and all the sites have healed except one. This one site is still slightly open and I continue to have pus weeping from the wound. my question is has anyone else experienced this problem? Sorry put this on the wrong forum. Would appreciate any help though.

I haven't experienced it myself but have you spoken to your team or gp? It sounds like a slight infection which could need antibiotics to clear it up and then the wound can heal properly.

Please see your gp or team so that they can get this cleared up for you.

I rang the nurse at my docs about 2 of mine and she said that its quite normal for that to happen but if its warm to touch or hurts or is red and raised then she would have come out to see me, but it wasnt.
Eventually they scabbed over and they are fine now. Just check for any symptoms cos it would mean there are infected. xx
