I think they film the op as routine Liz, just in case anything goes wrong they can go back and look over it to check for problems. Whether or not they allow you to have a copy I have no idea. Would be worth asking though!

I watched one too pre surgery i too am amazed at the dexterity of the surgeons who perform keyhole surgery. I'm also amazed that i recovered so quickly when you see just how much they actually do to us! Thanks for the link very interesting x

Amazing i had no idea it was so intense, i dont think i have seen any program on tv that has highlighted just how intense it really is.
Also i am truely amazed how we can recover from that so quickly and feel so well
