HELP I HAVE NO IDEA AT ALL WHAT TO TAKE, other than mobile fone, passport, money & myself??????
I need a list - I'd rather have too much than not what I want

Baggy clothes and some analgesia, see if your GP will give you some on prescription before you go. Good luck x

Pain relief in dispersible or liquid form, something to read or keep you occupied - it may not be easy to get hold of English books/magazines/papers - ipod, phone charger, non wired bra for journey home, travel pillow to go between tummy and plane seatbelt, preferred toiletries and skin care products!

For other ideas look at people's threads and decide how important the things people mention are to you.

Thought I might invest in a Kindle - easier than dragging a mountain of books about and the way I read......

I've got my tablet so can go on internet as its WIFI, I'll prob wait for the 'sales' to get pj's/slippers/new dressing gown etc.

I,m hopefully flying from Manchester on the 15th for my wrap. I,m with body beautiful. Good tip re non-wire bra! Would not have thought of that...

be careful about the amount you DO take with you, remember after surgery you shouldnt be lifting anything too heavy (mahoosive suitcases!!) so try and go as light as possible xx

My mum and I are sharing a case as she is coming with me, that way i can pull it on the way out and she can on the way back lol

South Staffs PCT BMI-45.2 30.12.11 - saw doctor and asked for referral for Bariatric Surgery. 13.1.12 - chased up referral, refused weight management as BMI not 45+ 17.1.12 - saw doc, read letter of refusal, bloods requested, new weight/height to be measured 18.1.12 - bloods for trh/diabetes,cholesterol etc....awaiting results BMI now 44.9 (still not 45) 2.2.12 - next appointment with nurse, get results of bloods and check weight again....will i have a BMI of 45???? 2.2.12 - BMI now 45.2, referral being put in, but do i want or am i ready for surgery? confused.com! 6.2.12 - 2nd referral sent to Heartlands (weight management) will i be accepted this time? 1.3.12 - accepted onto weight management...need to book appointment 5.3.12 - appointment at weight management 3.5.12 Diet - SLIMMM WK1 -11lbs WK2 - STS (not suprised after last wk!) WK3 - STS WK4 - 8lb
