WTG hunni soon to be on the losers bench with us :) congrats on taking the plunge..... I don't regret a single moment except why not sooner........or why couldn't I do it for myself............ Its difficult getting your head around it all pre op but now post op its very clear that a band takes a lot of determination and desire......... its just like following a vlc diet just with your helping hand looming in the background keeping you on the straight and narrow:) Its simple really eat less move more and your away to your new slimmer life x x x x congrats again x x x

Mr Alan linsaid only one week of pre op diet for me so iv sat tonight and made a food diary starting mon 21st, then iv made a shopping list from that so hopefully with a plan in place I'll find the diet much easier.
I sat and read through the THG suggestions for the food pre op and it's not too bad so I thought I'd try that. It's only for 7 days after all then liquids only post op.
I paid my final balance off today so it seems ever so real now. Less than 3 weeks!! Xx

Hi bex,Julie said I could do it for one week, but when I asked MR Li he said it's better to do it for the 2 coz it makes his job easier and starts getting you in the right frame of mind :)
I also paid for mine Monday I have a telephone appointment today with the dietitian
I've lost 3lb already since Monday, going shopping tomorrow for all my meds, windeze, liquid paracetamol, multi vits etc etc ...

I havnt weighed myself since my consultation. I'm going to start that the day I start my pre op diet then I thought it would be a good idea to take photos so maybe I could see small changes on them. Be great to look back on too!!
Iv made my list out, don't forget new pjs lol for the stay. My nerves will kick in soon, still havnt told work. I'm planning to self certify for the time off, hope I'm ok after 7 days xx
