Boy what'd gall bladder peobs post by passor sleeve?
I need help quick
I'm in an alien hospital as was on holiday ncollapsed. Been admitted n I've been nil by mouth since Tuesday!!! Luton told me to never ever let a hospital do this to me without a discussion first. I've begged them to ring them.
Im too poorly to travel as my crp infection levels are 474!!!!!
ScansAys enlarged n nasty gallbladder.
Help me !!!!! I've left a message for luton team

Try ringing luton a and e and ask them to pass a message to the on-call bariatric consultant? Luton always have someone around.

good luck. Also ask if you can speak to someone from PALS at the hospital you're at.

I've just spoken to luton the team are not happy. The dr ringing me back in thirty. In surgery at the moment. No ones tried to contact them from this hospital even tho I've given them their details x

I googled a n E number n got through to switchboard. They put me strainer thru n shocked I was the patient n not the hospital. They maybe doing the right thing but the dr had admitted he has no idea what to do with me as im too complex. But to never contact them after I've given the number out repeatedly !!!!
I'm used to not eating. But to be tad they are concentrating on talking massive infection n not having a bloody clue is my idea of hell. My crp levels r crucial n I could die n they don't talk to them !!?!? It's out of order. I've asked them to ambulance me to luton to ppl who know my history n understand

Ward member said that they r doing the right thing. She's a carer and not a nurse and certainly not specialist in bariatrics!!!

I am so glad you got through. Fingers crossed they get you over to luton and look after you.

At last yesterday they arranged to transfer me to Luton. They spoke to my surgeon mr barraca and he remembered me as I'm complex. Waiting for a Luton bed n ambulance to take me. Xx

Thanks, I've been educating them in bariatric needs n psoriatic atrophy which I have. These don't go together when your poorly bad

Sorry to hear you had problems at an 'alien' hospital. My thoughts are with you in slightly more familiar surroundings. At least your own specialist will be on your case.

I have conversion surgery (band to bypass) in Belgium so will start with all NHS hospitals being 'alien' until I build up local contacts with bariatric specialists. With the NHS I've yet to get beyond my GP.
