Help foamy vomit!

I had gastric bypass surgery on Saturday and have experienced a lot of vomiting since.
Today I some up feeling great but since went downhill about 40 mins ago with really painful upper back pain and a foamy white vomit.
I was then what I'd call mucas sick which seemed to relieve everything!
I have called my team and I'm awaiting a response but does anyone know if this is normal ect that would be great thanks!!

I still have that 3 months post op, especially if I eat/drink too fast or don't chew enough with a pain across my chest...I believe it's referred to as the slimey's because it's like slime! Did you have a gulp of water then it happened? As long as there's no blood in it I wouldn't be too worried.

I have some of my foam right in front of me if you want a pic for comparison...!

I had that the day after my sleeve, couldnt even hold down a sip of water, they said it was just the gas from the op... never had any trapped wind after so it could have been gas (not sure about 3 months later though)

It's if I have anything to eat or drink I'm currently due back up the hospital for a ct scan ect!
I also have a cough that hits me for the whole night which is making me sick!

I was at AnE until gone 1am last night

I had a dreadful cough after the operation. Apparently that is fairly normal. Good luck with CT etc. Try get some sleep x

My sleep was dreadful had to change pjs ect about three times due to vomiting!
I can't help but wonder what the hell I've done to myself! X

Hope you're ok and they get to the bottom of it, you're lucky they're scanning you so soon after op as it will be easier to fix any problems now. I know it's awful but it will be ok. Please keep us posted.

Just awaiting a scan using a camera down my throat if all is ok I may be allowed home if not I have to do a gastric swallow test tomorrow and go from there!

Well it looks like everything is very swollen so I'm in for at least another night!
Still not allowed food! Although I'm not hungry!

Oh nightmare, im sorry youve had issues, these things can happen and it shows its a serious operation. I hope you have a good sleep tonight

Thanks for all the wishes guys!! Reading that everyone has their individual problems shows me that it's not the end of the world and something will be sorted out I'm just fed up!

So an update... I have come home for the night and have an out patient appointment tomorrow to finally do the swallow test!
Fingers crossed it doesn't require surgery but I feel so much better and I'm starting to get things down me now so it looks positive!
