What alcohol can or can't you tolerate?

Just out of interest mainly ...

What alcolhol can or can't you drink post op? How far out were you before you tried it?

Just thinking of all my Christmas nights out as a slimmer person and getting excited x

Two drinks no matter what they are is my limit. But I was never much of a drinker anyway.

Half a glass of wine and I'm plastered. An hour later totally sober. It's the weirdest sensation ever! I don't enjoy drinking as much as I used to.

I'm not much of a drinker (never was tbh) but I occasionally have a weak voddie and coke or a malibu or schnapps with coke/lemonade (use ice to take the fizz out) or if its a hot day a cider over loads of ice.

I can drink gin with a still mixer, or wine. I waited until I was back on solid foods before trying anything

Do any of the drinks make you dump? I imagine most alcoholic drinks may have a high sugar content?

I haven't experienced dumping with alcohol. But that's not to say I won't, as it's so unpredictable

Not as of yet -fingers crossed-

I use to love going out or staying in for a drink or 3 but over the last 4 months only had 1 drink pre wls but post op did have a j2o drink as I shouldnt drink any booze for a while and found it soo sweet, had to
Water it down so much then had a very tiny tot of fizz and again found it far too sweet so put that aside
wont try again till christmas
