More and more questions (sorry)

So, I've been doing a lot of searching for surgeons abroad. I think I've settled on Prague Beauty.

Has anyone on here had there surgery done here?

Also for the long timers :)

What happens when you get to goal weight? How do you maintain it?
I mean like, I'm now 19.7 and ideally want to be 13/14 stone, that's my comfy sexy feeling weight. But my ideal weight is between 8.7-11.7 so at 13/14 stone I'll still be over weight. Will it be possible to stop loosing at that?
I hope that's not a really stoopid question lol.

Could the people that have had a bypass give me the good points and bad, just if you have time please, I like to know everything before I go ahead and book!!
How has it help and hindered your life?

Sorry for all the questions.

Hi hunni, I self funded but I had my op in the UK, I really don't have any bad points I have been really lucky and sailed through my first year (Bypass nov 21st 2013) I am still losing but it is a very slow rate now (Lost 10st 7lbs in the first year) I am losing at the rate of 1-2lbs a week which is fine by me, even if I stayed at this weight I'd be extremely happy as I fit into size 12 and sometimes size 10

Post op I had no pain at all and took no pain killers whatsoever, just really tired for a month but that soon passed. I now weigh 11st 12lbs from my start weight of 21st 7lbs :)

Good luck with your journey.

Well done on your loss! That really is incredible. That's like losing a person lol you must feeling amazing. And no painkillers jeezo!!! Superwoman lol
Do you still go out for meals and stuff? Eating out and family meals are quite a big thing for us so I'm kinda worried about that too. X

Yes I go out for meals at least 3-4 times a month, I choose carefully, depending oh where I'm eating, if its a cheap and cheerful pub meal I may just have a starter, if its somewhere a bit posher I may have a bit of grilled chicken I still only eat a quarter of of a meal but I no longer worry about what I leave so long as I enjoyed it :)

I had my bypass over. 4 yrs ago now,my foods are very limited,I dump very easy but it keeps me on the straight and narrow.
My start size was 24/26 I'm now 12/14 I stopped loosing at 15 months out, then you have to be very careful.
I have had a few issues with this bypass, but I can't change it now.
It is a life saving operation but for some, once the "honeymoon period" has ended.....reality sets in.
Good luck x
