What would happen if you got pregnant in first year after having a bypass. Would it be very dangerous??? And I have read so many different things about best time some say wait 6 months some a year and some 2 years.

Getting old now so can't fit in 3 year wait.

What dies the general ppl think.

The very best advice is to follow your team's guidelines. Most say a year to 18 months post op.

Personally my team gave me the go ahead when i was 10 months post op. By this time i had achieved 75% ewl and had begun to stabilise, i also had no problems nutritionally (ie bloods coming back normal, and able to eat a balanced diet), which is pretty important when it comes to pregnancy.

I fell two cycles later, but it unfortunately ended after 6 weeks. I then fell again in the following cycle without a period in between. Currently 8 1/2 months pregnant. I don't know how old is old as you say, but I'm 32.
