Hunger after bypass

I'm nearly 7 weeks post bypass and haven't really felt hungry since the op. Every now and then I think I feel a bit hungry but having difficulty distinguishing real hunger and head hunger.

Just wondering what other bypassers experience is with feeling hungry.

It will be 3 months tomorrow since my bypass and I agree I dont feel hungry I sometimes think im hungry but I think its head hunger along side maybe needing a drink im practicing mindfulness and it seems to be working for me so long may it continue

I felt hungry after about 8/9 months out. Just listen to your body. As overeaters, our brains have to relearn the hunger signals as we've usually eaten when not hungry for many years!

I don't feel hunger at al really not like pre op days. It does feel different. I do have cravings for food but that's not hunger that is old fashioned greed on my part wanting things which do not uit my body. If you can stay a way from sweet things forever don't go back to bscuits if you can help it can be your biggest downfall. xx
