I had a stricture a month after my surgery. But because I was a month out my private team wouldn't treat me - I had to go to my local nhs hospital to be treated after not eating 14 days or drinking for 3. But they were so busy I didn't get it treated for 10 days - so ended up with a picc line in my arm. Was very ill!

Still worth it though
