Am having bypass on 12th feb now as I work in office they have said two weeks off work . How long did you all have off work?

I had 5 wks off and also work in an office. I'm glad I had that length of time as I struggled with lethargy and consuming correct cals at first.

Good luck x

I was back at the office 2 weeks after my sleeve, but then worked half days for the next week or so.

I had 4 weeks off then eased myself in with short hours, I'm also office based.
It's really difficult to plan because everyone's recovery is different. But personally, I would advise taking a little longer and don't rush, if you can afford to take time off and you've got a good employer, give yourself time to heal properly.

I arranged to take 2months off to get pass the whole liquid/puree/soft food phrases and recovery aftet WLS then on my return 2weeks early finish and no lifting and pushing guys in wheelchairs as I work with the disabled
