Very dark green diarrhoea!!!!!!!

Can anyone relate to this , after starting the adcal 3d and iron supplements I have had very frequent dark green diarrhoea manly after I have took the adcal 3d , with it being very dark am wondering if it's the iron that but the adcal making me loose any one else been like this ? Sorry it's a horrible topic :-(

Don't think it's the adcal but think it's more likely to be the iron supplement. You may have to go back to GP and ask for another type as it sounds like it might not be agreeing with you. I have yet to find an iron sup that does me. Thankfully my iron levels are okay so I'm getting away with it for now.

I have taken my iron today and not the adcal and no problems so far seems soon as I take it i get the pains and start within an hour of taking it , I just think the green is because of the iron I have no idea if I have a full day without adcal and its defo not happening i will know it's that I suppose , adcal on Google says it cause the runs and upset tummy but the iron says causes green stools and constipation so am baffled x

It may be your tablets but when I had dark green stools it was because my liver was playing up (not related to the surgery) so it might be worth getting a check up with the GP. I'm sure it's not but always better to be safe than sorry x

Like Shelley says go back to your GP hun ..adcal constipats me something terrible and iron the opposite. Something obviously isn't agreeing with you though.

Oh dear really ? I was fine and all was brown lol till I started on the iron tablets like but I will
