Well its 4 weeks since I have had my bypass do I have regrets?
Well I have had 4 weeks of dizziness and being light headed.
Life consists of medication, fluids and food and more medication, fluids and food.
Puree food tastes like cardboard, not to mention what it does to your toilet habits, feels like I’m giving birth to a rugby ball which is a real pain in the arse (no pun intended)
Feels like I’ve been wearing these support stockings for ever only 2 more weeks to go woohoo.
Woke up yesterday with a pain in my left side feels like a stitch and still got it today as well as a rash on my arms and neck which is itchy and driving me crazy.
On the plus side I’ve lost over a stone this month so that’s four stone since my seminar so I’m on my way to my new life and I’m sure there will be more obstacles on my way. Bring it on
Rant over.

first weeks will be distant memory soon Pollyann. Good to see that you can see the positive side too. From now on, hope it will be all positive!
great weight loss by the way!

Lol yeah my first 6 weeks felt like hell on earth but now 16 months down the line and 12 stone later and lifes much brighter.
Hang on in there and soon the days will be much easier

whenever I read of someone having a difficult start on his/her new life it makes me sad but also happy that my start was soo easy and trouble free I don't mean to rub it but it was!
but like tules says this will soon pass and better days are ahead good luck in the meantime
