How quickly do B12 injections work

How soon do people feel a benefit from their B12 injections? & how soon post op did you have your first one? With or without bloods first?

I had a sleeve so may be different than your but had them after 4 months. Did the blood tests just before so the test does not come up misleading. Supposed to have them every 3 months in my case. Sadly did not notice any change in energy levels

Yes same as Tules, had a Sleeve and so far had two B12 can't see any change in energy levels.

I haven't had any b12 injections at all but am lucky my levels are normal, so not much advice on this one!

I've been having the injections for about two years. I think the first one was about 3 months out pre tests as it is preventative rather than a treatment. I thought they were not working at all for the first year as I didn't think I could feel the benefit. However what happens now is I notice myself getting tired and sleeping more when I'm due the b12. I have it and don't notice the tiredness gone until about a week later. I don't have any negative effects from it so its something I'm happy continuing with.

I can feel the difference within 48 hours. It's like having 'go faster stripes'. I get mine every 3 months right from the start. I can feel it running out after a couple of months and I always can feel when it's due.
