Bypass over with:-)

I've never posted on here before as I kept thinking I would back out of surgery at the last minute (chicken) but it's done and over with:)I had read people's stories on here many times and that pushed me into doing it. I was bypassed on Thursday afternoon and left hospital Saturday morning so just wanted to say hello and thank you to everyone on this forum.

I'm from Sunderland and I'm 47. I was an average weight until I fell pregnant at 32 and piled on 7 stone and could never shift it. Every year I would diet for my summer holiday, would manage to lose a couple of stone then promptly pile it back on. After 15 years of doing this I knew I had to do something more permanent. Couldn't have a band or sleeve as I have a hiatus hernia so the bypass was my only option.

Sorry for rambling, just wanted to say hi xx
