Ok so i guess you could say this is more a worry than trouble but heres where im at currently.

2014 March 8th had my surgery... did well, my body handled most foods well when i got round to eating normal again i started at 27 stone and to date i am around 11st 4. My concern here is that when i last saw the consultant in April i was 13st at which point he told me it would be unlikely for me to lose much more weight however its still coming off me. In small amounts but still coming off. Is this an okay thing to be happening?

second on my list is reactions to food.... for instance... im fine with milk normally, has to be ice cold, but its all good. Drank it a tiny bit faster than what i would normally one day and it made me ill. does anyone else still get this kind of thing so far after the op?

Hi. Yes it's normal for you to continue losing weight, especially at your stage. You will have to gradually increase your calorie intake until you find that your weight has stabilised at whatever goal weight you want to achieve.

Your body isn't getting enough calories so you will continue to lose weight until your body gets the right amount of calories to sustain itself.

When you reach your goal weight, you basically need to experiment with your calorie intake to stop you from either losing more weight or gaining.

A massive congratulations and well done on losing such a substantial amount of weight. That is an enormous achievement!

When I had my bypass, I was told I was unlikely to go any lower than 13 stone but I'm currently at 10st 7lbs.
