Staff end of season night out

it's my works night out in a couple of weeks and it's been decided that we are off to Pizza Express. which is fine apart from having looked the menu there seems to be nothing suitable for me to have.
I had Gstric by pass about 18 months ago no serious issues and have been out for various meals since and always find something I can have usually steak but their menu just doesn't seem to have anything suitable.
look's like I will after for go a night out.
No one actually knows about my surgery only that I have a limited diet.
Any suggestion?

Tell them you're a celiac and can't eat pizza

In pizza express I usually have the buffalo mozzarella and tomato & pesto starters and ask it to come out with everyone's main meal. Would that work for you?

Although I have to say there's a massive difference in size and quality depending on which location.

I would order the children's chicken pizza, eat a slice and then leave the rest or take it home.

The ceaser salad is lovely in there comes with chicken breast

They do a pizza with a hole in the middle they put salad in. I can't remember what it's called!!

I order that as the base is very thin, I can't eat a fairly decent amount of it and it does have meat on too. It also only had 500 calories

Thank you all for your help I will have another look at the menu now I know there are a few options.
Some know I have a problem with bread etc as I work in the kitchen and the head chef's always saying "here try this" so had to explain in simple terms that I can't tolerate certain food's.
Quite looking forward to a night out with them all but just wish we where going some where with a more varied menu.
