SUNDERLAND SUPPORT GROUP - WLSurgery.com

Myself and bypass.sarah will be doing the 1st official support group at sunderland royal hospital on september 3rd which will be on a thursday. This will be in a room in the education centre in sunderland hospital. The meeting will run from 6-8pm, SRH patients are welcome both pre and post op and your more than welcome to bring a partner/friend for moral support.

so please feel free to come along for a chat, if anyone has any questions please feel free to ask.

and also does it matter whether you were done private or NHS?

hi jan mr small asked me and sarah to do the support group for sunderland which is nice that hes chosen us.

Its great that you can attend, it will be a great place to meet others going through the same process and make new friends, and the group is a perfect place to catch up once a month to see how each other has coped ect xxx

hi Yvonne, yes its for all procedures either nhs or private as our surgeon also does private ops xxx

Hiya

two things, I would really love to come, but as I live in the Midlands would I be able to attend, or do you have to be local to Sunderland? Also, I am not able to make this one, as my hubby is forcing me to take a holiday in Vegas (didnt take much convincing I can tell you) and I wont be back in the UK until September 10th, so if you schedule another one, I will come up, if people outside Sunderland can attend.

yes yvonne i will bump this thread up nearer the time, the reason ive put it up this early is so people have the chance to arrange work/childcare ect in time and then we can get a more regular thing set up on a monthly basis after the 1st meeting.
