Birmingham Christmas Meet? - WLSurgery.com

Just to see if there would be any interest in a Christmas meet up in Bham. There have been a few threads recently suggesting meets, and with the festive season upon us and Bham being central to most people I though I would see if there is enough interest from people for a meet.

In terms of what to do, or where to go, we can be flexible. We could arrange an afternoon meet for those who want coffee and a chat, and perhaps some Christmas shopping in the Bull Ring or the Frankfurt Christmas Market, and then in the evening, the city comes alive, we could have a meal, or just go dancing/drinking/clubbing.

I dont really want to be in charge of booking any meals or anything due to the complications in getting deposits off people. Will be happy to do some research though with regards to venues/prices/hotel accomodation for anyone that plans to stay over....

Over to you lot. Who is interested?

Why complicate it by thinking of formal meals etc? Agree a date, time and place to meet and then go with the flow! IN that way,no one gets stiffed with 'organising'.

Last night I mentioned to StephanieAck that may be the first weekend in December would be good. I think it's the 4th December; any later would be too close to Chrimbo and any earlier may be too short notice.

Broad St in Bham is a OK?

Hey, me and wannabeslimagain and some of my other mates are doing Broad St on the 4th December as it's my birthday the day after. We're going to Flares so if any of you lovely peeps fancy a bit of good music n a boogie you know where to find us. Not sure which of us is wearing the obligatory chest wig though

just giving this a little bump. General consensus seems to be 4th December on Broad street for a boogie.

Hows about we arrange to meet in the figure of 8 (wetherspoons pub with cheap drink and plenty of seating) on broad street from 8pm onwards, and then move onto Flares before 10pm (they charge £5 admission after 10)
