Hey Ashlie, I met Mr Pollard on Monday for the first time. He seemed really nice. He put me at ease about the op.

Unfortunately Thursdays aren't a good evening for me as I already have commitments. How did it go yesterday?

Would be great to keep intouch.

Hi Charlie. Sorry I missed the group. I'm in Dewsbury hospital following emergency surgery on a perforated duodenal ulcer. Massive setback for me, and I'm not feeling great. Hope to be at the next group. Cheers Liz.

Thanks Charlie. I am recovering now, but still need more time in hospital. Prof is aware what's going on. Should be seeing him on Thursday but that ain't going to happen!

Next support group we have a guest speaker Mary O'kane specialist bariatric dietitian. Any topics you wish her to cover let us know. Due to the success of the group numbers have risen dramatically ( which of course is a good thing ) any newbies please call to book a space. Look forward to seeing you all in March.

Can spicy food cause ulcers?
For supermarket food, what percentage of fat and sugars should we aim for?
