Well, as people know, myself and others have their op date now. However, some others who were cancelled in Jan and Feb are still without a date.

So I wanted to keep this thread going, as I know from experience limbo is such an uncomfortable place to be.

I really hope all settles down soon. I also hope the surgeons who are doing the new ops being booked in are truly ready :s My intestines are important to me at this point lol

Well, today was good. One of the bariatric dieticians did a great talk on dumping, the why we dump and how to prevent it.

Next month is going to be a talk from Dr Taheri on weight management.

Had a stinker of a day at work (staff appraisal time of year) and all I wanted was to go home and go to bed - I just couldn't face the M6 at rush-hour. Sorry to have missed the meeting - will get there next time - when you will be post-op Fuffs!

That's totally understandable Cathi. I would have felt the same. I was doing school governor training until 4pm. It killed every single brain cell my pre op diet had left for me lol. If it wasn't for my op being next week, I may have curled up on my sofa and slept lol
