Marrow

I have bought a Marrow.
Normally I would stuff a marrow with mince, onion, mushrooms and either a bit of rice or lentils or barley and then put it in the oven for an hour or so.
No way could I possibly eat a full Marrow now, stuffed or not stuffed.
Anybody got any ideas for something that would use it all up?

I thought it might go a bit too watery if I did that Denise.
I might have to give it a try though.
I might cut it into two inch thick circular slices and bake it with some peppers etc, then freeze that and perhaps add the mince and other filling when I take each slice out of the freezer.
Is that what you meant lol. Im a gawp tonight, sorry lol.

That is probably the best way but I have succeeded by laying it between 2 pieces of cheesecloth, compressing very gently & then transfer to clingfilm before putting in the freezer. Yummy x

Thank you, I can go to bed now lol. I will have a go at it tomorrow. Cant wait now. I love marrow but thinking of eating anywhere near as much as I would have done prior to the bypass is scary lol.
