Thank you!
I must admit I am finding it hard to reconcile what I can eat and what I want to eat. I have my dinner on a small side plate and can still only eat half of it even though I want the rest. It feels increasingly wasteful to me ? but the dog is loving it lol
I am pleased but haven't lost anything more for a week, but I am now on 'proper' food so that might be why. Dietician said that's normal and once my body adjusts I will start loosing again. I haven't had a band fill yet either!
And how are you feeling? I am having trouble moving on from scrambled egg and soup at the moment!
Going to try some fish in sauce tonight for dinner ... See how I get on with that!
When you get home I can't recommend gripe water enough! I was in agony over trapped wind for days and one of my mummy friends mentioned it and it was a god send! You can take it with all your meds from the hospital as it is natural. Just take 10ml and it will really help! X
I was off for 4 days including a weekend. I had the if on the Wednesday and felt fine to go back to work on the Monday. I do work at a desk so nothing too strenuous but do long hours. It's different for everyone

Thank you for the warm welcome everyone! Doing much better today... Managed to take the dog for a walk and it definitely helped. Also I tried gripe water, meant for babies with trapped wind but it really helped!
While recovering from my band op my 12 year old jack Russell called Monty wanted to look after me. He is a very sociable dog and is more like a cat than anything else because as soon as you sit down he wants to be on your lap. He couldn't understand why I wouldn't let him and though he had done...
Just had mine on the 25th. 4 days post op and still feeling in quite a bit of pain but looking forward to me new journey. Struggling with trapped wind!
At the moment I am only managing 2 spoons of watered down smooth soup and some peppermint tea a day. Struggling with water ! Wondering if the...
