I've found my books with the old plan in. I've sorted a menu plan out for the next week. Hubby wants to lose a stone too (I have 1 stone 4 lbs to my goal now) so I'll be counting strictly for him.
Okay, I'm breaking my rule. I can tell that I've stopped losing weight but after a follow up appt yesterday at hospital I now know who much I weigh. I want to lose another stone to get me at the upper part of healthy BMI for me so I am going to be braving the scales.
I've been toying with this for the past week as I need focus and the support. I've not got on with the new pro-points. I think it's because in my head I still have the old points values stuck in there from when I did WW 14 years ago. I'm off to look for a local group.
who doesn't weigh themselves?
The last time I weighed myself was August 14th and before that at my 6 week post op check. I know I've lost weight as I've been measuring myself and my photos taken at Christmas speak for themselves. I don't want to get hung up on the scales but I know my...

My pain condition is a neurological one but I do have osteo-arthritis in both my hips. As a result my needs aren't for standard painkillers as such. My Dr won't put me on stronger than codeine as a result. So I take amitrityline and duloxetine for the 'brain' bit and co-codomol...
Wibble - that's a good idea. I've just got back from my GP and he's changed my HRT to a patch and upped some of my others. I'll try splitting my painkillers throughout the day and see if that helps. Thanks.
I'm a bypasser and only started using one post op. Wish I'd got one years ago as it helps with my sore and stiff muscles too. And yes, it helps with constipation! I try to get on every day. Usually first thing in the morning in my PJ's!
I have a chronic pain and fatigue condition which was the reason for having the bypass as my mobility was getting worse. The problem is that my pain is much worse than it was before. Could it be that the meds I take aren't being absorbed like they were before? My GP doesn't know. Should I...
I had to increase my meds since my op. I'm grieving for the 'friend' I've lost I think. The emotional side of a bypass is very difficult for me to deal with and my demons are still there.
Go and see your Dr. Liquid meds could be your best bet. The amitriptyline liquid I had directly post op...
Dumping is not nice, horrid set of symptoms. I understand the science behind it but I was wondering if it was actually harmful to our bodies. I'm putting a call in to my dietician tomorrow but wondered if anyone on here knew the answer. Google isn't much help.
Thanks.
I have fibro too. Finally diagnosed beginning of 2011 after trying to find an answer to my problems almost my entire life.
Good luck with the rest of your pre-op diet.
Wearing size 14 skinny jeans today! Whoop!
Not been on much as had migraine and tonsilitis. Just coming out of the tonsilitis now and head much improved.
