    thats a lot of money! but you have to be comfortable and happy with your choice, i had mine done at Prague 7 via BBC Direct, it was done on 11th june hence 3 weeks on Monday and i am happy with my weight loss of 18 pound. best thing i ever did, it cost £3500. good luck hun you wont regret it x

    hi i had a gastric wrap and my BMI was just 35 and that was the minimum they would wrap me on hence i did not do a pre op diet and i was and have been fine x

    some of the research post op is conflicting as i have read on several websites that for the first few months you need to have 600 calories a day which is what i am doing( plus a least 2 litres fluids), i have had a Wrap so it may be different for the band. I am NOT saying my information is 100%...

    i am in the same situation and work for a massive organisation, i have been to see my GP and told him i wanted my op to be confidential and he gave me a sick note with "post operative recovery" on it, your confidentiality has to be upheld x

    I have lost a stone in 13 days x you have water only for the first 2 days which you have to sip and then clear broth etc. you will have NO appetite at all, i still dont!

    on the 9th June i had 2 onion bhajis, a lamb rogan josh and naan bread and a bottle of wine, it was like my death row meal!! lol, had my op 11th June x
